Rocky was my first real bicycle. Growing up in 80's North America meant bicycles were strictly recreational. After moving to Copenhagen my girlfriend took me to a police auction to buy a cheap bicycle. I promptly disassembled and rebuilt it using parts from abandoned bikes found throughout the city. I then discovered that bicycles are not only for recreation, but THE mode of transportation
I left her locked to a bike rack... to be recycled via another police auction.
